  2. Waiting for the Revolution cites the 1984-85 miners’ strike pamphlet ‘For as long as it takes! – Cowie miners in the strike, 1984-85’. Sadly, authors Steve McGrail and Vicky Patterson are both now deceased, but the Scottish Labour History Society, with Steve’s widow Sue Harley, has now reprinted both this pamphlet and its sequel, ‘One year on – Sacked Polmaise miners speak out’, with an introduction by mining community historian Jim Phillips. The book is available at £6 plus £1.50 p&p: contact stewart_maclennan@btinternet.com
